Sussex HIP has been established to provide Energy Performance Certificates to the domestic property market in the areas of East and West Sussex.

Owned and operated by Nigel Field, my goal is to offer an efficient, professional and speedy service, maintaining the highest levels of integrity to all clients (Hip providers, estate agents, solicitors and private house sellers)

I am a fully qualified and accredited Independent Energy Assessor trained and qualified to industry standards; hold all Professional indemnity and Public Liability insurance and along with Criminal Record Checks you can be assured of professionalism, quality assurance and peace of mind.

Sussex HIP guarantees to act professionally at all times and surveys will only ever be carried out by highly proficient and presentable local Energy Assessors/Home Inspectors.

My aim is to provide a premium local service and build lasting relationships with local firms. However, I feel that although service is of paramount importance to our clients, pricing is also a key factor in the HIP market and so we have developed an offering that meets the toughest demands in both these areas.

What is a Home Information Pack?
The Home Information Pack (HIP) was designed with two purposes in mind:
To improve the home buying and selling experience for consumers - Approximately 30% of property sales in the UK fall through prior to completion. By providing as much information as possible about a property as early as possible in the sale process, it is hoped that transactions will become easier, faster and far less likely to collapse.
To reduce the emission of carbon dioxide that running a home causes - A reduction of CO2 emissions will help protect the environment from global warming and also reduce the cost of providing the energy required to run a home. The energy reports produced will be of high quality and delivered within tight timescales at a competitive price. Meeting your needs is my most important objective.

As a new and growing business, I can adjust the offerings to meet your targets ensuring your requirements are fully met. Sussex HIP is based in Hailsham, East Sussex. The area covered extends across East & West Sussex and includes The Weald. The area covered can be extended further for multiple bookings in one locality on the same day
